Local Pickup is designed for physical locations where the customer may walk in to pickup their order.
Step 1 – Log into your website
Log into your website at yourwebsite.com/login
Once logged in, you will automatically be redirected to your site’s dashboard.
If you are already logged in, then visit your site and select the blue square with a Gear Icon to open the Chasi Control Panel then select Site Dashboard.
Step 2 – Access Shipping Settings
On the side menu of your sites dashboard, select Shop > Settings.
This area has all of the settings for your shop, for this tutorial we will select Shipping.
Step 3 – Edit Shipping Zone
Here, you will see a shipping zone for the United States.
Go ahead and select Edit under United States.
Step 4 – Enable Local Pickup
This is where you will be able to tell Chasi what type of shipping to use for the United States.
You may choose Flat Rate Shipping, Per Product Shipping, Free Shipping, and Local Pickup.
For this tutorial, we are going to enable Local Pickup with the toggle.
Then, we are going to Save Changes.
You may also use Local Pickup in combination with Flat Rate Shipping, Per Product Shipping, and Free Shipping.
For this tutorial, we are going to keep them all enabled.
Step 5 – Test Changes
Now, let’s go and test our new shipping price!
Within Cart totals, your customer will now have an option for Local Pickup.
